How do I know what playground to buy?
You and your KidstructionTM sales representative will choose the best
playground equipment for you or your organization. It will meet
all the physical and budgetary requirements discussed.
How much does a playground equipment cost?
Depending on what items are purchased, commercial playground equipment costs can range from a few thousand dollars to many thousands of dollars. A realistic range would be from about $8,000 - $50,000. This could include play structure, swing set, ground cover, borders, installation, etc.
Who will install the playground?
Your KidstructionTM installation crew is the best choice. You and your organization can also install it yourselves, or you can hire a contractor. We also offer a supervised install, whereby one of our crew leaders will come to the project site and work alongside you and your workers until the project is completely and correctly installed. How will I receive the equipment?
The playground equipment ordered will be delivered by either a KidstructionTM driver or common carrier.
Will my playground be safe? Are there certain standards and safety guidelines that must be followed?
Definitely. All commercial playground equipment must meet certain criteria set forth by CPSC and ASTM. KidstructionTM goes the extra mile by exceeding many of these standards.
What’s a fall zone?
The fall zone or use zone is the area immediately surrounding the playground equipment. It is intended to be a safe, clear, buffered area in which children can fall or play and not be hurt.
Are there other costs involved with purchasing playground equipment?

How will I know that I’ve got “all my bases covered”?

How long will it take to get my playground equipment?
Normally, it takes 4 – 8 weeks to fabricate and install a play structure, depending on your schedule, time of year, etc.
What if I experience a problem or a glitch during the project?
Your KidstructionTM sales rep is available throughout the project to address any concern you may have, or problem that may occur. What do I look for to identify quality construction?
Quality construction begins with a good design. Choose a design that you feel good about, and then look for fabrication techniques like stainless steel weld joints, heavy-duty materials, properly coated parts, and general care and craftsmanship in what’s being made.
