Swings can be purchased in single, double or triple-bay styles. Each bay contains 2 swing seats. Therefore, a 3-bay swingset would have 6 swing seats accommodating 6 kids at one time. We also have different seat styles to choose from. The traditional strap seat is always a winner with older children, but for toddlers, we recommend a full or half bucket seat, in which the toddler cannot fall out.
All of our swingsets are fabricated using ultra-strong, thick-walled, schedule 40, powder-coated, galvanized steel tubing and special friction-free, bronze insert or ball-bearing type swing hangars manufactured especially for the commercial playground industry. Our swing seats have safe, kid-friendly rubber exteriors with virtually indestructible steel inserts to minimize vandalism.
When purchasing a swingset (or any play equipment), you should also consider the "fall zone" area under and around the swingset in addition to the swing itself. This is the area under and immediately surrounding the swings. It is usually filled with a soft, impact-absorbing material such as sand, engineered wood fiber or rubberized surfacing in order to reduce the likelihood of serious injury.
